Founded in February of 1991, ForMedical showed since its beginning the capability in the areas of trade and representations.

A few years later, in 1993, Formedical started to give its first steps in the International trade area, when it started to commercialize Bio-tek´s instruments, an american company world leader in manufacturing instruments for test, calibration and simulation of physiological signals. This company is now part of Fluke Medical.

This partnership demonstrate since the beginning to be very promising. ForMedical is the responsible for selling this products for Brazil, counting with a large number of distributors.

In 1996, this young company started to work with big hospitals and public departaments, selling Technical support services, always guided by its owner, Marcial Martins, a Clinical Engineer. The quality of the service provided took ForMedical to assume more and more responsibilities and to become stronger.

In 1997, ForMedical fixed a partnership with an american company highly recognized in the area of cardio-pulmonary function systems and spirometers. Today, ForMedical is its sales representative and technical support in Brazil.

With extreme professionalism and competence, our company never stops to innovate. And so, in 1998, after a study of market needs, started its first work and issue certificates to meet the rigorous standards of ISO9000.

Without losing sight of the quality and seeking to implement innovative solutions to its customers, ForMedical, still in 1998, started its activities in the area of services, creating its first department in a large hospital in Sao Paulo. Since then, year after year, new departments were established, and they´re still with For Medical and still active and growing stronger. Therefore, our team of Clinical Engineering is responsible for equipment from: more than 180 adult ICU beds, more than 90 ICU Child, more than 97 emergency room beds, 80 operating rooms, and laboratory equipment and equipment over 60 Basic Health Units. Thus, we achieved positive and real results in terms of economy, quality and institutional credibility.

EIn 1999, once again ForMedical teamed up with a large American company in the area of cardiac monitoring, Spacelabs. Spacelabs was born from a need that NASA had to use equipment to monitor vital signs of astronauts in space and, because of its constant advances, also carried over to monitoring in hospitals.

Therefore, ForMedical also agreed contracts for exclusive representation throughout Brazil for the lines of Holter, ECG and defibrillators from Burdick, which provides systems and tools for integrated cardiology and have an important share of European market.

And to keep the history of partnerships with major brand names, in 2007 ForMedical signed a representation for the line of human and veterinary imaging diagnostic from the Japanese brand Aloka, with an experience of over 50 years in this segment.

Today ForMedical has a highly skilled and trained personal, including a clinical engineer certified in the U.S. by the American College of Clinical Engineering.
